Something Different for Joomla

Newsflash

Join us  Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM leading up to March 24, 2010, for Lenten worship services.  We will be looking at various reasons Jesus came into this world to offer His life for ours in order to grow in our understanding of God's love for us and grow in our devotion to Jesus.

On March 24th we'll be showing the 30 minute short film Most (Czech for the Bridge).  This film tells the story of a bridge operator and his son.  It is a modern parable demonstrating the incomprehensible love God the Father has toward us.

You will want to Reserve the Dates and times for the wedding and rehearsal on the church calendar as far in advance as possible. Keep in mind that our church seats no more than 250 guests.

The Pastor
will want to have a minimum of two interviews and counseling sessions with you. These sessions should be completed well in advance of your wedding day.

All Music selected should be in keeping with the worshipful aspect of the wedding ceremony. The music must be cleared with the organist or Pastor.

The Church Organist shall be used, as he is accustomed to the worship procedures and acquainted with the specialized feel of this pipe organ. If a different organist is requested, this should be cleared through the Pastor and the Church Organist.

St. Andrews Pipe OrganThe Wedding Hostess will be of great value to you in helping you plan, answering questions, and coordinating with people involved in the worship service. She will be responsible for unlocking and locking up and will be present at the rehearsal and the wedding to synchronize the procession and generally see that everything runs smoothly.

On the Day of the Wedding, ask your ushers to be at the church 45 minutes before the hour of the wedding. The entire wedding party should be dressed an hour before the time of the wedding to allow the photographer to take pictures. Out of town members of the party should plan to arrive in town at least 3 hours prior to rehearsal. It is a good idea to have maps made up in advance.

The Florist
