St. Andrews Pipe Organ

Our pipe organ is one of four in the city of Stockton that utilize tracker or direct mechanical action between the keys and the pipe valves, but it is the only one built along the design lines of the North German Baroque organ of the type J.S. Bach was familiar with. (Therefore it is a very Lutheran organ!) The casework is of modern interpretation, but the stoplist and voicing are Baroque. It is an ideal instrument for leading congregational song; and for a modest sized instrument, it plays a large portion of organ literature quite well.

The organ was built by the Schlicker organ company of Buffalo, NY in 1982. It has 13 stops and 16 ranks plus zimbalstern.
