Our high school group is committed to growing in God's word, helping each other through the good and bad times of the high school experience, and learning how to solidly live out our Christian faith as we become more and more independent of those who have raised us. We hope to live our lives with the purpose God has for us for the improvement of the community as we use the gifts God has given each of us individually.

2008-2009 Youth Program Overview
St. Andrews Lutheran Church

St. Andrews Lutheran Church’s Core Values and how they look in the Youth Program

  • Make Disciples
    • Growing through the regular study and devotion to God’s Word
    • Learning how to challenge, encourage, and strengthen each other in the faith
    • Learn how to handle the pressures and temptations of modern life
    • Help our youth be able to make other disciples
    • Recognize that living out faith can be fun and filled with joy
  • Serve our Community
    • Take time to participate in activities that serve our community such as park outreaches, local and regional community service opportunities, and global mission work
    • We seek to create an attitude of selflessness and service, in contrast to our culture’s extremely selfish bent
  • Share our Faith
    • Equip our young people to share the faith with their friends and classmates
    • Help our young people become leaders in the faith community and give them a spirit of courage, not of timidity.
    • Make our events worth bringing friends to
  • Gives Glory to our Savior
