Vintage

    Guess what?  Our church turns 65 this year!  While that seems to be the magic retirement number that most poeple look forward to, it certainly is not the number God has given us to begin kicking back and relaxing.

    God's people don't ever retire from serving God, serving others, and loving those around us.  We can never retire from seeking His glory and giving honor and praise to Jesus for all He has done for us.  We don't retire, because God doesn't retire.  He never stops loving, caring, sustaining, guiding, and strengthening His people.  We would totally miss the boat of what it means to be a follower of God if we thought we, at 65 years old, could just glide into the sunset.

    I pray that, like God, you never stop taking advantage of every opportunity that comes your way to serve Him, serve others, and grow in faith.  Help someone else do the same.
