MOPS (Mothers of PreSchoolers) is for all moms of children age 0-6.

It is a place to find friendship, community, resources and support for you as a women and mother so you’re not alone. We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, September to May, 9:00am-11:00am. Any mom who is pregnant or has children under the age of 6 is invited to join us!

MOPS – 2016-2017 Theme is We are the Starry Eyed

We have had 18 different moms working on wonder, hope and kindness this year!  With six of those being brand new to MOPS this year.

Please continue to invite any moms of children 6 and under to join us for our last meetings of this year.  We meet May 9 and 23 from 9-11am in the Parish Hall.  Tuesday May 9 our topic is “Becoming…Wonderstruck Moms”.   As we recognize the beauty and pain of motherhood and parenting a child with special needs.   Tuesday May 23 is our last meeting, so we will celebrate the year with a brunch together.   Our topic will be “Becoming…A Man Whisperer”.   We will focus on the things the men in our lives need to hear from us, and how sometimes we say one thing but our husbands hear another.   We will also meet between these dates on Tuesday, May 16 at 10am at Nelson Park for a fun play date.  Bring your own picnic lunch!

Thanks to our loving moppets workers this year for taking care of the children while the moms met for encouragement, fun and learning how they can explore wonder, hope and kindness and draw closer to Jesus in this season of mothering. If you have any questions call Deaconess Ann Marie Rehbein in the church office.

The MOPS leadership team will meet Tuesday, May 2 from 8:30 am – 10:30 am at Liz Cliburn’s home to grow as leaders and finalize May and summer play date plans.
