What is it? Taize, is an ecumenical, Christian community in France organized as a result of Nazi atrocities during World War II. From this community, a style of prayer and worship evolved. It is a time of singing and prayer with scripture and no preaching. We have two choirs which provide music for the 8:15am traditional worship service September through May as well as for special services throughout the year. Thursdays 6:30-7:45pm – women and men’s choir Choir Practice/Sunday Schedule Praise Bands for Contemporary Worship. The praise band includes, but is not limited to, drums, electric and acoustic guitars, bass, keyboards, and vocals. Musicians who lead worship in the band are a part of a rotating schedule which changes every other month. If you are interested in participating in leading worship through the praise band please contact Holly Andersen.
